It goes good enough to keep up with traffic and is very stable at highway speeds. We had a vt commy at the time and the lancer was faster than that. Even with me driving (not that I flog it) it returns about 6.8L/100km with some suburb driving but mostly country. I've tried driving it hard and I never saw an average of more than 8.5L/100km but I spose constant city flogging would get it higher. We paid 12k for nearly 2 years ago and it only had 15 thousand km on it. Now it has around 50 thousand on it and it's only needed tires and regular maintenance.

Needs to be kinda gutless. This goes with saving fuel as well, need fuel to make power suggested it cause open diff so no skids for you. sounds like you should buy a second BF mk2 xr6t and mod it up to the same power level and general modifications then if one fails you've got the other one ready and waiting for action. So admin feel free to delete, but I've had a look around and can't decide where is best to ask, but I am after some advice.... I am in the UK now and have been for 3.5 years so I am a little out of the loop.... so... I do have however a 2011 FG XR6 Turbo (Auto) at the family home in NSW with c28,000km and has had little use in the past 3 years. Its had regular drives to keep in action and of course the odd week or two I have been home... bought it as a demo with 300km so just the one owner, me! and is all as standard. The time has come to make the awkward decision to sell....I didnt think I would be here in the UK for so long so I held on to it, genuinely how much do you think this is worth now with the low KM's... its obviously in good knick as well, minus a minor scratch or two.... This isn't a "for sale" post, just a genuine query.... Any thoughts much appreciated! cheers

bundy bruiser New Member 6 Member For: 6y 11m 14d Posted 07/02/18 01:35 PM Share Posted 07/02/18 01:35 PM Hi fellas I have been on the lookout for the last few months for a tidy F6 ute or possibly a sedan. I nearly pulled the trigger on a 13 GS ute, that was nice, but I reckon I would enjoy the T6 more. I have looked at few so far and was wondering a few things. The models I am looking at are Fg or BF2, 2 out of the several cars looked to have more wear and kms than the odometer showed. I had all the cars checked out by a mechanic mate and he agreed on the 2 in question. I know on some of the other non Ford cars I looked at, a simple cluster swap was all that's needed to make the car show less kays on the clock, what is the case with FG and BF series? I have a budget of $35K max, most of the series 2 FGs are between 35-40, they seem to hold their value incredibly well. I am starting to think maybe last of the series 1 might be a better option or even the last of the BF 2s so I have $5K+ to throw on mods. I have read this site for a few weeks reading about the opinions and a lot say the FG is a way better car, problem is my funds will be gone at 35. I like the look of the BFs much better, I wonder if a BF with 5-7k in mods would be a better option than a standard FG?
