Paying $10,000 for a clean BF with fat rods or Paying $6,000 for an older BA with skinny rods leaves you $4,000 to put a set of better than stock fat rods in a BA. Also BA tuned to 315rwkw's to 330 rwkw's is still a ball tearing bit of kit and still very safe on the BA rods. So the BF isn't the B all end all that everyone makes out it to be. The auto in the BA well that's a different game again. Probably the advice is be patient the right car will turn up. You just might have to look further abroad. But bring back a stock machine if ya do.

Box stock T. Member 1,384 Member For: 9y 7m 1d Posted 20/12/16 01:10 PM Share Posted 20/12/16 01:10 PM I have only owned T56 manuals buddy. Don't do auto's sorry mate. ZF is the far more superior gearbox than all other auto's before it that I do know. If it's an auto your after it's the one ya want.

Box stock T. Member 1,384 Member For: 9y 7m 1d Posted 20/12/16 01:24 PM Share Posted 20/12/16 01:24 PM Definitely a good idea then. ZF definitely then. Just had a look at the car ya put up for us to have look at , I would very cautious about a car that is claiming to have had a little bit of stuff done to it. 460 kw = roughly 410 rwkw's which dangerous territory for a BA with no bottom end work being done. If it's has built motor you would definitely be saying that in ya ad. Something smells fishy. It may not be but you don't want be the one to find out. Plus the dude's spelling is sh¡t. Haha. Never trust someone who failed English.
