Currently been looking for a BF/BFII Xr6T on and off for a few months. Thought I had 1 but was snapped up before I got a chance to get it, and same a second time around. Looking for a stock / slightly modded one with manual 6 speed. Picky about colours though, I dont think I could tolerate citrus/acid/bionic/white ones. Would prefer Phantom/Seduce/Ego/Silhouette.

If anyone knows of any, carsales doesnt seem to have much at the moment.

G'day team,

Looking at manual xr6t utes and have budgeted around $20k to spend. Have heard mixed opinions about various models however I would not be buying anything older than BA mk2 due to it having the six slotter. I come from a turbo subaru background but am sick of the lag and also want something a little newer (currently have a Rs turbo wagon.)

I would not be wanting to go crazy with mods and anywhere around 300kw with basic mods would be all that I was after, I mainly want to maintain reliability.

I would appreciate any advice on what model to look for, what to look for when buying these second hand and also if you personally know of any good examples for sale in the nsw or nearby region!

Thanks!

James.

Bf at minimum. 300kw is fairly easily achieved these days.

4k more and you can get one with 400rwkw ;)

If you're over the subaru turbo lag then go the FG. Not that the b series lag bad, its just that the fg has a smaller turbo so quicker spool

More refined interior aswell
