yep and theyre probably paying 31k for the car at auction at best so you getting bum raped hard....

the fact that u said it was a demo and a few other bits and pieces either indicates to me they've taken u for a massive ride or you just didnt listen and have a lack of understanding.

It sounds like you''ve already made your mind up, If you were gonna buy the car regardless of advice given then why bother posting on here?

Yes, "subject to" isnt worth the paper its written on as the actualy contract overwrites that anyway, the only reason it is used is to say "subject to finance" and in which case all contracts are anyway becuase if u can't pay for the car we aint giving it to you anyway.

its something us sales people use to make sure you sign on the line and feel less pressure.... doesnt mean anything in the real world.... I could write "subject to the world ending on 21/12/12 and it would have as much validity as subject to finance.

My old used car manager used to take $200 out of every deal that fell through due to customer change of mind because of time wasted etc.

I'm not trying to say this car is definitely a lemon because it might very well be awesome, but to be sold at an auction with only 10,000kms on the clock I personally wouldnt feel comfortable as you know its either been ....

a) some form of company car

b)some form of hire car

c)reposession

d) I <3 Bananas knows....

auctions can be a gold mine.... but not for u if your still paying over retail and the dealership are benefiting from it.

Warranty is a plus yes,,,, but in my opinion if your not seeing rewards at the start (cheaper price) then I wouldnt be willing to risk issues in the latter. Espeically since I have personally sold demo (genuine) undriven demo models drive away xr6turbo ute with leather and premium auto for less than what your talking and that had 9kms on the clock. not 9000 just 9!

either way the car your looking at isnt a demo and it certainly isnt owned privately by joe blo who just wants to upgrade every year.

hope this helps in some shape or form.

the guys on here have all been through the ringer and usually know what theyre talking about so any advice given that u've asked for I would personally take into consideration.

Cheers
