Wouldn't one need a actuator "connected" to atleast try and control boost?

He has the actuator connected, no?

The actuator hose is connected to the turbo

The tuner is Brent at Dyno Power in Tauranga NZ

Its a six speed

Was planning to stay at 18psi

Ive got the housing out getting ported and flapper mod

Its possible that I didnt tighten the diaphram cap properly on the actuator too?

This time I'll test it on the bench first with a pressure tester

Also I have found the gasket between the dump pipe and turbo has blown out...probably form the xforce flange not being flat?

I will try to get a thicker one made for it

Anyway I would check the diaphragm if your not 1000 % cause definitely on the right track and it's rare to find a gasket between the dump and turbo they cook and break up and only really ever help loosen the studs up if you maintain your turbo side nuts and bolts throw one in otherwise I wouldn't worry about a gasket throw abit of flange sealant on there

You have a SCT an logged it to see what the tuner has changed (great way to learn too)

I'll hook it back up to the controller when reinstalling the turbo, we bypassed it on the dyno to see if the boost would drop but it didnt..

When I left the dyno I got around the corner then the check engine light came on, it turned out that the ecu says the wastegate is siezed because the contoller was bypassed.
