Howdy all,

I've rushed home to post a very important bit of info.

I'm now verging on 5000k's total & have moitored every tank of fuel consumed thus far. Today on filling up after covering 490 k's I returned 7.9 k's to the litre or 12.65 litres per hundred in normal speak. The D.T.E. guage went to zero about 6 k's before I filled up & I still only got 62 litres into it. Meaning next time I go more than 6 k's after it hits zero & hopefully get 500 k's from a tank of PULP.

Previously I've struggled with consumption, I think she's freeing up!!!!!!

Regards Scotty :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Chris,

That is impressive, was that at 100 to 110 steady as she goes given the double demerit business?

Did a 5000km round trip with my BA XXXT V8 , speed control set at 120kph and average 10.9lit per 100km.

But if I sat on 140kph she drinks close to 12lit per 100km, still not bad because she had five on board.

It made no diffrence what type of fuel I used.
