Vic Legal Rim And Tyre Sizes

Hi all,

I have spent heaps of time reading through various topics trying to find out the following:

I have a g6e turbo and I want to run 275mm rear and 245mm front tyres. In order to narrow the search for rims down are 9" wide rims the largest I can go considering the car has 8" stock?

I like the look of the icon zest but they come in 8.5 and 9.5 widths.

Can anyone clearly explain the Vic laws? Ive read through the info on the Vic Roads site but still not sure if I can legally run 275mm on the rear.
