Hey guys I done a search but didn't get the results I wanted I want to keep my intake temps down in the staging lanes I'm thinking of a nitrous solinoid or something to inject methanol into the turbo mouth to flick the switch bring the revs up to intake goes down to 25 degrees flick the switch off do a burnout and stage at 25 degrees I'd like to hear what people think.

This has been covered before

Not a good idea always after the turbo as the delicate blades on the turbo spinning so fast have the chance to be damaged by water droplets hitting them

Not too mention the turbo squishing the air is what causes the increase in temp so post squish is always going to work better than pre squish

Big turbo to squish a whole airport?

I think if it's an inside manifold spray and not on intercooler spray it'll be alright down track. I'm also looking at it (just need to save up $$$$$ to get snow performance kit)

Just run a small jet on the water meth kit to suit your current tune, anything upto 375ml. You could potentially go higher but Ive only tested up to the 375ml jet. If you are going fit the kit run it for the whole run. It may not show up on the dyno but should definately help with et and give you a greater safety margin on the tune.

Hey Dan I'm glad there are few racers starting to think heat soak is a major problem in bracket racing I have found leaving with boost has made me do back to back races within a couple of hundredths I wanna try my best to make it even better. And I reckon if you can get intake temps almost dead on everytime your gonna run more consistant numbers and win more races
