Hey guys.

So last night I drove home. Pretty standard. Went to turn the car off and the ICC shut down straight away so thought that was weird as it stays on till I open the door. Then I couldn't lock it so thought maybe the keys have a flat battery. Went to go and lock it with the spare set and still nothing so tried to start and nothing. Popped the bonnet and the earth cable has fallen off the battery!!!

Don't know how this happened but my question is.

- is it safe for me to put the earth back on and tighten the bolt without shocking myself?

- the car is tuned so is this goin to screw everything in the tune also?

Any help is much appreciated. Almost think ill call NRMA to come put the cable on

If you mean blue (neg) lead then take red (pos) lead off as well using small spanner. Inspect blue lead connector for corrosion build up and scrape off with screw driver. Do same to red lead connector. Then put red back on. Then put blue lead back on. Prolly just a loose connector due to corrosion build up?

only done 10000k's but it was tuned about 3 weeks ago so I think they may not have tightened the nuts up properly when they disconnected the battery for mod reasons. it's black on mine but battery has been relocated. terminals look clean so I am right to just pop it back on and tighten up and she will be good to go no problems?

thanks evildaifu
