Its going in a museum when they are done showing it off. Doubt it will see any action, more of a PR exercise.

The car will be run at wsid, but he said it was only a week or 2 old and they wanted to get a few more kms up first.

Until now, the most powerful police car in Australia was a Expensive Daewoo Special Vehicles V8 used by Queensland police, with 325kW. But both the Expensive Daewoo and Ford have neck-and-neck performance, able to reach the speed limit in about 5 seconds.

When stock maybe. Saying a 400kw ford is as fast as the 325 Expensive Daewoo is a bit off!

Surely this 400kw car is only going to promote more hooning from police!?!.

These days anything to do with high performance vehicles encourages hoon behaviour according to police, safety"experts"and people that

drive with an "I've just be sucking on a lemon" expression.

Police should be donated more cars like the Prius to promote fuel efficency, low carbon emissions and sensible driving if they are

to reflect prevailing community standards.
