building bikes is generally a bit easier, quicker, and cheaper.

common misconception.

build it right and it will cost just as much.

it all depends how far you want to go with it really.

Yeh why not

Had my dads 60th last night was good

But we all pretty much know he wont make 70 he has asbestosis and the outlook is hohum each year he goes for a heart/lung test and they pump out % of how much hes on the downward slope capacity wise.

He seems perfict but as the docs reckn it will be his heart that will give out ..., as the lings bring in less oxygen the heart pumps harder to get the oxygen around the body etc etc.

Its a bit weird someone telling u that your days are numbered and from the side lines its weird aswell I kind of feel like I need to make extra effort to hang out but we never really had that kind of thing so its a bit different and I know he just wants everything to be "normal" but I also dont want to look back with a regret.........

Just a bit weird really

a) Not working harder to get the girl of my dreams over here with me - I lost out big time

b) Making poor decsions with my ex has cost me time, money and a mind fook!

c) Travel, im 29 now and the split with the ex has opened up the door for travel next year so il tick that box.

d) Getting an HR/HC licence sooner to do what I really would enjoy, driving vast distances and seeing more of the workd doing it

e) Not saving enough money at the time I could have

Its funny - how you read the replies , and in particular that of MS700 - were he say's 'grap those opportunities as you only live once'.. Is it not because that we only live once - that we find ourselves - looking to get the max out of life - and continual seek to max our experience and opportunities that we find ourselves - making those decisions - and it is only later when we sit back and wonder whether our efforts / time could 've spend better and else where - hence the 'regret'..

If only - we each had a crystal ball - decisions whether to buy a F6 or GT335 - would be soooooo much easier - whether to have build the car with your son and or dad instead of spending time with a partner and or friend and so on and on and on ..........

Agree - time looking back - in the main , serves us very little - except in that we get a opportunity to learn something else about ourselves and the relationship with keep with both material items and the people with love and find ourselves with - both in our family/friends and work ..

I guess - we will never live our lifes without regret - just continue to smile and know you 're doing your best ! :buba:
