"Fluffy for the win" She is 100% correct. The N/a does not reach maximum torque until later, true. But the N/A is making more torque, until boost kicks in. Based on the higher compression ratio.

Cheers

also.. I made one comment which was a joke your now personally attacking me on a thread with no relevance to that post ... if u wanna continue this I suggest you do it in a private manner by pm to myself if u have a problem with my conduct...

either that or grow a set and take a joke like everyone else

Manual/auto debate isnt the same as n/a / boosted debate

Love u all though

And yeh a n/a will keep a turbo honest until across the lights ........ Maybe half way across lol

Even in my car when a GTS rocks up I know hes going to POKE at the start but its the reeling in that's satisfying .....and its usually spinning and sideways reeling in ..... Even better

either way imo I personally did like driving the xr8 but the boss motor isn't anywhere near favourite list of v8's

I dunno if your set on a ford either way and u already own a turbo then yes... I'd go a xr8.

however if your swayable... and I cent believe I'm saying this... I'd almost pick a Expensive Daewoo v8 over the boss...

personally the r8 is to me a lot nicer car... it's finished off better... I liked the way it drove slightly more and I also prefer the sound to the boss..

having owned a ba gt when they were new which had 4/11s chucked in I'd say if u had to go a boss do the dif gears and an exhaust and u Wi'll be happy...

I rekon the turbo six sounds awesome with some mods like a fighter jet and whats the point having a car that only sounds fast that's for posers all show no go I think people talk up the lag situation way too much my manual fg has almost no lag and will spank a clubbie or other na car off the line because it is already making boost when you rip out the clutch youj ust have to know how to drive and have some decent rubber a lot of v8s up my way sound well sh*t they are way to loud sound like they are flying but go like sh*t its false advertising

. , : ; ?
