auto?

Yes, it is an auto - stalled in 'Drive'

Ditto

Mine stalled at idle today ( auto ) for the first time, also idled rough

a few times after being on boost.Weather was warm but very very humid.

Looks like off to the dealer next week for 15 k service to get it sorted, along with water pump O ring which is starting to leak again after the mid trip cuffuffle in Armidale a week or so ago en route to QLD. <_<

Mine stalled yesterday as well! Was driving down a steep descent, had the car in 1st (SSS), I also had the A/C on, and my Car Bra. I am thinking the Car Bra had a lot to do with it though, it had slipped down a little, and was restricting flow to my radiator slightly. It was bl00dy hot where we were too.

I was following another Turbo down the hill (saleen1), and his didnt stop........

Had a quick look last night after getting home, I noticed my sticker on my fan shroud has shrivelled up due to the heat in the engine bay! Going to check later today if anything else is buckled/warped due to the heat. Must have got hot under that bonnet!

My car's engine light come on, then the power steering went all heavy (obviously the motor had stalled by that point), got out and let it sit for a minute or so, jumped back in and off we went!

My XR6T stalled today as I was driving up my driveway. It's the first time in over 12 months that it has stalled. I'm putting it down to the very hot day - it reached 42 today.

Mine stalled once on a moderate day for no apparent reason. I have bigger injectors now and all was fine after they took a day to settle in (stalled twice). I have just fitted a 2.5inch mandrel bent system and now the car will hunt then stall after a hard run with the air cond on at idle. Just those good old computer gremlins again :kissmy:

Mine has stalled 4 or 5 times now. It is a manual and it has only done it whist in heavy start stop traffic. It seems to occur when I am putting along in second and then push the clutch to glide up to the lights and then the engine just stops. Apparently there is a pipe near the firewall on the passenger side of the engine bay that can fall off when there is too much back pressure and that can stall the engine. My Boss's Auto has had it fall off 3 times and you cannot easily put it back on. He took his to Metro Ford (Brizzy) and they put a better "Zip Tie" on it!
