My XR6T stalled today as I was driving up my driveway. It's the first time in over 12 months that it has stalled. I'm putting it down to the very hot day - it reached 42 today.

Mine stalls on average once a week. Hot weather with A/C on. No lights on dash or anything to indicate no engine.

Dealer says next time it happens, just leave it where it lies and get a tow, as there is no info on engine eprom.

What a joke

I will just keep hitting things with it until it learns its lesson - lol

:( Dude I feel for you remember this you must insist on the dealer to find a solution to your problem.after all you have bought a product which has been marketed as a hero car I too have issues with ford and there is no way there getting of easy after all when you spend around fifty+ on a new car you expect a lot from a company that promotes it's self as world leader in atomotive inovation :ta::ta: for you input

G'day,

My Car did this recently, I was told it was my VCT modules entering adjustment mode and not letting the ECU know early enough so it goes "splut splut " then stops

No Error code either as its something the engine is supposed to do (not the stall the cleaining or adjustment)

Only happened the once to me...
