I know it us prolly been asked a few times but I have no idea how to use the search on my phone! I have a 2009 Fg xr6 turbo, it has a few mods such as process west stage 2 intercooler, 1000id injectors, full 4inch stainless xforce exhaust, process west surge tank, tune and zf tune and I'm sort of over it now! So iv been looking at taking the next step, would I better off getting a precision turbo if so what size or just stick with a f6 turbo, I will also be getting valve springs and turbo side intake done at the same time.I use Rob Harvey at monsta torque in Perth, any help would be greatful! Thanks Jacob Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/82900-precision-turbo-help/ Share on other sites

Next step is a 6466 and then a 6766. The precision units are not a direct bolt-on like the Garrett GT35 series so be prepared to pay a fair bit extra. The GT3566r (so they call it) which uses a 66mm TO4z compressor instead if the usual 61.4mm (the one Mumba is talking about)!is a common upgrade but you're better off with a GTX35r as it uses the latest technology turbine design and the compressor is better matched to the exhaust turbine. 1 Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/82900-precision-turbo-help/#findComment-1326911 Share on other sites

Considering using it, though its only a .91 divided t4 housing..Its either that, or step up to a 6466..I have to buy a manifold either way...I still haven't managed to find anyone who's running a 6466 to see the results..Messaged XFT. No reply.. :( Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/82900-precision-turbo-help/#findComment-1327185 Share on other sites
