I understand where you're coming from ms but if you can save (in my case $400) on the x3 when its unmarried and has unlocks left then what's the harm in that?

I just want to know how to check its unmarried so when a mate goes to look at it for me they can see for themselves that it's physically unmarried. I wouldn't rely on what someone tells me or what a picture from them shows

I bought a 2nd hand one off fordforums a couple of weeks ago ang guy sent me photos showing its unmarried,I have connected it to my car but dont have it custom tuned yet.I paid via paypal to cover my ass

Yep, I have seen a pic of the X3, it has 3000AU written on it so it must be an AUS model. We aren't talking about if it will work or not.

But how to check if it will work once I have it in my hands before paying for it. I would not risk it otherwise. He is only a couple of suburbs from me and we are talking a saving of about $500 in my case. Which pays for my 60lb injectors.

I asked Herrod the same thing,all you need to do is connect it to your car and go into device info and see how many unlocks are left and if its UNMARRIED.If it says unmarried then itll work once you get a tune put in it(custom one preferebly).
