Hi guys,

Have a ba xr6t and its time to do the frount end bushes

Looking into things there seems to only be 2 options

1/ superpro

2/ nolathane

And this is where my dilemma starts the superpro bushes are a interferance type bush and the nolathane a shelled type bush

I am looking for a bit more handling but not more nvh

I am currently running billys and kings allround with no other mods and the 245/40/18 optional ford wheels with a ZR rated tyre

What are you guys running and what seems to work!

I personaly seem to think a shelled type bush would be better than the interferance type offered by superpro but are happy to be proved wrong

Ralph, would have thought that was the case reading up on this forum till I was at the sales persons coumprter who remarked why would you buy a interferance fit bush we offer over a shelled bush which led me to the question! what is better noathane with the drilled reliefs and a 75 duo rating or a superpro 3 piece bush when a std bush is shelled but filled with oil

What advantage does the shelled bush give you over a non shelled bush? The sp bush is also voided. I have installed numerous sets of sp bushes and not had a single complaint, I have fitted one set of nolathane bushes and the increase in nvh was quite noticeable.

The stock bushes are shelled as they are a hydraulic bush, great for comfort not great for handling.

In my mind a shelled bush with reliefs would have a more consitant flex than a 3 piece bush relieing on crush to compress it, but have no experiance with these bushes at all, also how would you compere the nolathane 45342x caster adjusters againist the superpro spf1600v8k items

Good feed back ralph money is hard to earn and easy to spend these days all help is much appricated guys

Bai6t No need to quote the post directly before yours mate.

Shim type castor adjusters are shim type castor adjusters mate, but make sure they mounting bolts face outwards into the wheel well as it makes adjustment much quicker and easier and you'll get a better adjustment.

Baboon, I dont think that bush is adviable any more they only had the spf1838K listed I was quite happy to use the 2636K, just for referance the nolathane 45344 looks similer but has reliefs drilled around the crush tube

Ralph the nolathane 45342x are screw not shim adjusters
