um ^^^^^^^^^^^^^ ?????????

I put a 12 psi in and run nearly 19 psi all the way through on mine

I didnt say a 12 wouldnt hold 19? I run a 12 and hold 19, general rule of thumb is an actuator is good for double its rating so a 12 is good for 24 and a 15 good for 30ish. A 15 will hold boost slightly better then a 12, but a 12 will work fine too.

Yes they do. Just mention to them that you need the 4 inch silicon hose to fit the bigger inlet.

I rang Plazmaman the other day and they had no 'off the shelf product' to adapt a 4" intake to their 4" intake.

I then went to MTQ in Perth and confused them even more. I ended up buying a 4" 45 degree elbow and will simply cut it down and see if I can make it fit.

What exactly have others done, starting with a Plazy 4" intake? If they could supply a ready made silicon hose to replace the 4" to 3" reducer elbow I would have gone down that path!

Rang plaz and said I want an airbox/intake to suit GTX

at my door a few days later

depends on what speed, plenty with the gtx are making 400 - 450 . . . . . . . and turning the tyres at the speed limit.

freaky has 20" wheels on a ute and 440rwkw, he is gunna chit himself the first time it steps out in 4th

stock FG makes a lot of power early in the rpm range which is why it spins easy, a car with a turbo to make 400+ rwkw will not have this boost at low rpms

Most settle for a 12 but how much boost do you want to run? If your gonna run well over 15, say 20ish then just throw the 15 on. They say your supposed to run an actuator that is close to your desired boost

I want to run about 19psi. Sounds like the 12psi actuator is the way to go, I don't want the boost coming on too hard as the car is manual. I want some sort of traction.

Decent tyres make a big difference too. I have had a really good experience with Nitto Invo's, they grip really well and last reasonably well for a performance tyre

Like I said, I was using the 4 inch turbo side intake on the smaller fg turbo. When I was upgrading to a GTX, I went to Plazmaman and asked for a silicone hose to suit a GTX.
