I ordered a gtx yesterday and was just wondering what you guys did with fitting the actuator up? Utilize the stock bracket off the std?

I went to have my car tuned today. I have a GTX3582 with the waste gate ported by GCG and running a 12psi actuator. Straight feed from the compressor housing to the actuator and I was getting 22psi at 3400rpm. Has anyone else had this problem? Seems the waste gate cannot keep up with the flow of exhaust. The wastegate is cracking at 10psi.

Did you inspect and visually see that the wastegate was ported? I bought a turbo from a company that "had full turbo ported" it was the sh*ttest porting ever. Drove 500km for a tune and couldn't keep it below 21psi. Drove the 500km home and pulled it off and sent it to my tuner who ported it properly, drove the 500km again a few weeks later and all was sweet.

fehlbie - Happened to me, that's why I done an external gate setup - now have a 45mm hole

My porting job was done by MTQ in Toowoomba, it was very average to say the least!
