your tuning will be out with different fuel pressure

Gday Ratter '

I'm 98.7% Sure Scotty at C.A.P.A set up the generic tune for all STD bolt on's including Regulator,Exhaust,No Boost Solinoid, amongst other things....

In saying thaT though Ratter, Maybe because tune is set for the fuel regulator to hold 58Psi & its only holding 40.

That would be a good indication why my car leans out so bad....

Reason I mention or should I say Ask is because I need to iron out this leaning problem before I can get it custom tunes "As Car can not be reved on dyno due to leaning out issue"

Ok , Just got into check what fuel regulators on the fuel rail. Its a 4.0 Bar...... Question. Do these things fail often? When they do fail are they intermitent or do they just stop? How to test if its faulty?

Being that you are trying to run a generic tune in your car It would've been all guess work by capa. Get a custom tune done! It's will most likely fix your issue!!

That's what I thought to man , but My tuner says we have to sort this issue out before we can tune it..... "does that sound right?"

C.A.P.A have set it up for all my specs, but weather or not they have generically tuned it for the 58Psi (STD XR6T Fuel regulator) Idk

Are you 110% sure it's a 4 bar reg in your car?

Capa can only do so much from there end without the car. It doesn't take much variance from car to car on same tune to through a tune WAY off.

I'd be double checking and triple checking fuel reg. then fuel pressure. Then get custom tune. In that order! If the fuel system checks out, get a custom tune. PLEASE!

269% sure Mr 4.0 .... Pulled off the crossover & spun the regulator around enough to read the 4.0 Bar on it mate ...... Its 4.0Bar. Makes me think now. Just replaced fuel pump (STDxr6t) , Replaced fuel filter , replaced plugs. Maybe a faulty regulator...or could it be me Injectors?? Regardless I will find out more monday.

On Monday I will get the fuel pressure tested as my tuner says "He needs the fuel presure sorted befor he tunes it" I think this is BS!! Its in the generic tune I say , but I dont have any other tuner close that can do it so.... I am just going to have to go with the flow.... the flow of pressure - haha :f*ckyou: :training: ahhhhh

Let you guys know how I get on .......

Where can I find a list of fault codes for the Ba Fairlane any one know?
