XR6T has a 4.0 bar. The BA XR6T has a 33.45lb/hr hi slope whereas the na has a 27.1lb/hr hi slope......so I'd say it has a lower bar reg as im sure the injectors are the same.

"XR6T has a 4.0 bar." - Not quiet sure what you mean by this??

Im running A NA 4.0 BA Fairlane that I fitted a xr6t kit to that's running a 27Bar Fuel regulator with xr6t injectors (Blue STD ones) should I change the fuel regulator to A bigger one as my car is pinging under load (boost) from running lean. Another question could I if needed to change to a bigger regulator to a rising fuel presure regulator instead of a higher bar (factory xr6t) regulator. Have changed the fuel pump to xr6t & also Am using 98BP fuel.

What he means is, the turbo runs a 4.0 bar fuel pressure reg which is around 58psi.

You have your figures mucked up, 27bar is 391psi....there's no way you'd be running fuel pressure that high.

NA would run a lower pressure regulator for sure.

If your running a standard turbo tune and still have the NA motor it's probably pinging due to the compression being too high.

^^ what he said.

No need to upgrade usually. The 4 bar factory turbo reg is a rising rate 1:1 reg in that it's job is to maintain a constant pressure drop across the injector.

ok. now im understanding thanks.

So maybe it would be a 2.7 Bar "it has to be" haha so yer..... This has to be my leaning out issue id imagine NFS' as Im leaning out real bad now I can understand why! So roughfly 2.7 bar is 40Psi say... So is 40psi going to make my STD xr6t pump push past that regulator Because the Psi the pump flows at is higher than 40PSI " therefore not giving the injectors enoughf Psi HENCE leaning the car out big time. So for agument sake if I had more regulated Psi (58Psi) that would actually be held up building presure in the fuel rail instead of going back to tank??

Do I need A higher Fuel regulator is the question?

THE FUEL SYSTEM SETUP RIGHT NOW :-

*STD XR6T Fuel Pump.

*New Fuel Filter

*2.7 Bar Regulator

Where can I get one from? As I only have the 2.7 Bar

Thanks Dan.
