Hmmm. So other than what you get in the box with an eboost2, what other things are required to fit?

If you want to mount it in a gauge cup, you will need to sort one seperatly. It comes with a u shaped bracket to hold it from behind- great if you have a racecar but fairly poo for a roadcar.

As mentioned earlier, you would need a msd tach driver or similar IF you want to do rpm based adjustments to your boost levels- great if you have a manual.

Ralphy, have you sorted the gear signal from the zf yet?, would be sweet to have the ability to lower boost levels in low gears.

Ok. So if just want to change between high and low boost without the rpm thingy, does it just replace the oem boost solenoid or something?

Yes. You get a new solenoid, and everything you will need in the box.

Hooks up to boost / vac line like a boost gauge does, and the normal wiring hook ups. A couple of hours work being carefull.

You can also set alarms for overboost, and there is a shift light that can be purchased seperatly- its a thin ring that takes two big leds , four colours to choose from.

I have one, have the first led come on at 4500rpm, 5000rpm for the second- gives you a chance to catch it in 1st at the drags! I have set the alarm for 5000 too.

I love the Eboost2, really easy to read boost/vac at a glance being a digital display- so much easier than a conventional neddle gauge.

do not assume if your car is tuned for a certain boost level it will be ok at a lower boost level unless your tuner has actually also tuned it at that level

Just so I've got this clear. Say I've got a 13psi and 18psi tune. I flash in the 18psi but dial down to 13psi with the eboost2. Are the AFR's still happy because the ECU adjusts, or will it be running fat until I bump it back up to 18?

Seems to be a few differing opinions on this mate.

As ratter pointed out above, a check with your tuner would be a good idea. I think Ralphy pointed out his thoughts on the first page too.

Another feature handy at the drags is the ability to adjust the punch of the boost curve- softer for slippery tracks, hard for max grip, or somewhere in the middle.

Is that the MSD 8913?
