mines setup for RPM base boost mapping, I have a set point every 500rpm from 500 to 10000, obviously only set them up to 7000rpm tho.

Next project is to install some switches on the gear shifter so I can have Boost groups for 1st, 2nd and 3rd for better traction on the street.

There seems to be quite a few options with setting up staged boost levels on these things, we're gonna play with ours to aid in traction with the new box so will be interesting to see how well it pans out

A Eboost2 is a turbo mans best friend, cant wait to get mine as the tune is savage and I want to be able to WOT without wheel spin, negates need for manual traction control via the foot.My tuner said it would work well in my car and I have seen them work well in real life.

what's with the weird post Jet,am I missing something lol?

I have no looked into this at all so if someone can answer for me, if I have a tune set for say 15psi and I use an Eboost to drop or raise the boost pressure how is the fueling levels adjusted to suit?

You cannot raise the pressure about the pressure the car was tuned for. If you decrease the pressure the car will correct the AFR's as the open loop fuel tables (the base table the car looks at for AFR under boost) are load & tps referenced so a decrease in Boost = a Decrease in load, so the Car will look to the appropriate rpm/load point to determine the correct fuel mixtures.

No different to holding the car at 1/2 throttle in open loop, you get less boost/load but afr's are maintained as commanded.

* simplfied version that ignores the base fuel table multipliers

I have an e boost street and it was one of the best mods I did, I now no longer need a race tune and a street tune.

I just leave it off for street duties and is very drivable on the street (about 370rwkw).

Then with a push of a button I have 400rwkw and boost comes in hard, too much for the Invo 275's but perfect for the street slicks at WSID.

No more switching tunes for the race track.

Ralph I get that the fuel gets trimmed for the lower boost setting automatically in open loop but if the car managed to run slightly higher boost for some reason does that still apply?
