One of the first things I did when I got my BA was take it in for a full service with a reputable tuner. Let him go over it with an experienced hand and report back so you can work out what is first things first to get sorted out. Sounds like this may be the best thing to do if you've only had the car for 2 days

Sorry mate, forgot where you are from - if you could let us know - we might be able to suggest a few places to go to.

Sounds like the spark is being blown out,if you are keeping the car for a while bung some genuine coils and NGK Iridium plugs in her.Fuel, air and oil filter change wouldn't go astray either. If you come across a crappy idle the rip the throttle body off and give it a good clean,I do this every oil change(5k) or race meeting tbh.

Servicing the boost solenoid is a good idea along with checking all the exhaust manifold/turbo bolts(14mm).On the passenger side of the block the turbo is fed from a line exiting there, make this line replacement a priority as the feed line cokes up and blocks the turbo oil supply.Look up Earls BA oil feed line.Inlet manifold bolts(10mm) are also worth checking to see if at correct spec.

When has the trans fluid been changed and has it got an oil cooler bypassing the std radiator?Doing this eliminates the cross mixing of fluids as the radiators are prone to splitting and sending coolant through the trans.

Lastly......hows the diff bush?

GTEXXED and theone thanks for that ill be doing a full service tomorrow.plugs oil change oil filter air filter fuel filter and ill be doing the boost solenoid with wd-40 first cause its over due for that by 2,000 so im hoping its that and if I still getting the issue ill be looking into the other stuff and if that dont work out ive got a tuner lined up to look at it talked to him on the phone for about half an hr and he seemed like he has done alot of fords so im very happy with that he said ill be paying up to $250 for dyno, scan tool and him just looking for the problem.. is that over priced at all? ... so if he finds the problem and I want him to fix it.it will cost me how ever so much ontop of $250
