custom_xrt6 Member 12 Member For: 12y 1m 29d Posted 04/11/12 04:04 PM Share Posted 04/11/12 04:04 PM hay guys im new to this just trying to sort stuff out I have a ba xr6t Ute ive noticed the last few week ive had a ruff idle that comes and goes. mainly when I stop at the light its like it wants to stall. been to shop they don't see anything wrong can I have some input on that.also while cleaning my inter cooler pipes today I found that my turbo has broken fins?? has little if so no play still spins freely. any ideas on that too?? AF04XR Member 21 Member For: 12y 4m 13d Posted 04/11/12 04:59 PM Share Posted 04/11/12 04:59 PM Hi mate to what I know of I had a xr6 non turbo before I got my turbo xr6 I had the same problem with mine wanting to stall and just running like a dog I changed my plugs and cleaned the coils and changed the rocker cover gasket as it was leaking oil going in to the first plug but other than that try changing your fuel filter hope this helps you a bit with the turbo I'm not to sure it don't sound to go let me know how you go if you can cheers 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I wouldnt be driving around too much at all if your turbo has broken fins. Is the inside of the housing buggered too?If your lucky all the bits will still be in your intercooler and you'll need to get all of it out.Im not sure where your at but precision turbos in Sydney Wetherill park are pretty good.just noticed your plates are for Queensland, maybe someone else can recommend a good place up there.
