So I decided to take the Luxo Barge to The Creek tonight to see what she would do "Dead Stock". The only thing I did before going was fit a K&N Filter to the standard air box. I took out the spare wheel and jack, the car had a full to the brim tank of fuel. Best I managed was a 12.8@110mph. I am absolutely wrapped with this considering the car is dead stock. I will post up a pic of the time slip for those non believers.

Cheers Coop.

Bit of an update. I have ordered an Xr8 bonnet just waiting for it to arrive. Have redone the tint to 18% so it is now nice and dark. Car is booked in at C&V on Wed morning to have Tune, injectors, Cat and Herod pipe kit. I will then be heading back to Eastern creek Wed night to race my mates VE Gts that is Cammed up and what not, bring on the battle.

Cheers Coop.

Update - so I had the car at CV today and the guys replaced my Cat with a Venom cat I had bought, fitted the Herrod pipe kit, fitted injectors and Con weaved his magic with the Tune.

The car spun up 292rwkw on a safe tune with a very aggressive power curve. I was very happy with this result considering the small mods to the car. Took it for a drive and oh boy what a difference.

So I then headed home got changed and ready to go the the creek. I decided to run the car on my street 20inch wheels as I wanted to see what it could do totally street driven, I didn't even touch the tyre pressures I left them at 36psi.

The car ran a best of 12.1@115.6mph with a lazy 2.002 60ft time. Remembering this car is still a single wheeler.

Very happy with the results, the worst the car ran was 12.4@112

All I can say is love it.

Cheers Coop.
