my ba xr6t is now in limp mode,

no speedo, in sequential shift mode, will only go into 1st n 2nd than hit roughly 3000rpm and it shudders than feels like its stuck in third.

things ive tried so far

- had a mechanic scan it and showed speed sensor error, would not let us clear error and nothing shows up when error happens.

- checked all fuses and relays

- cleaned speed sensors on all 4 wheels.

- ran flash tuner on all 3 modes plus factory, no luck

- disconnected battery for 10 minutes

- changed from 19s to 17s

what suggestions of things to check next?

the battery is failry new and was reading 13.3 volts but if the car doesnt get started for a day it drops volts pretty quick.

and its had to be recharged twice now just from sitting for a few days. maybe its faulty.

Battery is farked or the wrong type. I can have my car sitting for 2 weeks and it cranks over without a struggle. that's on a 3yr old battery.

Put a new battery in just than it idles better but still throws into limp mode.

Checked gearbox oil its all clean and full still.

put boost gauge back in and it throws out at 5psi not sure if this is part of it.

im guessin limp mode is caused by speedo being out?
