intercooler is same size just plastic end tanks.. I have the MK2 and love the front.

From the cars I looked at I am pretty sure this is correct. The Euro4 intercooler core looks to be the same size, the only difference with the Euro3 cars is the cast end tanks make the intercooler look much bigger. Core heights and thickness look to be identical when comparing two cars parked side by side.

Go the MKII you wont look back, In a few years time you will be glad you did as the mki's are slowing looking out dated with so many more mkii's around.

I was never sold on the front, Working in the rental car industry we got the new mkii's when they first came out and I hated them, but they grew on me. Certain colours I find don't suit the big buldge mesh desgin of the front bar..

Can't complain about my MKII in any other sense but. Love all the extra features and upgrades from the mki. Just needs more boost!!!!!

Fletty I agree with you regarding the Mk1 looking a bit dated next to a Mk2. But they still look good :-)

For me it will come down to value for money and finding the right car for my set budget.

Hahaha.

It was worse when I got mine, took a week before it even left the Qld dealer, then on a truck, train, back on a truck, another week later I get to go pick it up in melb lol
