LAZY6, these were being sold as used cars so I guess they can play dumb but to me it just looked suss. Was pretty surprised at how "used" they all were for 12 month old cars with such low kms.

I'll keep looking as I am in no rush. May be better off with a privately owned car that has been looked after by someone who actually appreciates their car.

Cheers

biggest difference performance wise between mk1 and mk2 is that the mk2 has a smaller intercooler with plastic end tanks.

intercooler is same size just plastic end tanks.. I have the MK2 and love the front.

Yes they are a few of them around the $35k mark, hence why I said in my original post that there are some good prices around.

Couple of decent 2011 Mk1's but they don't have premium sound, are a colour I am not interest in or are manual.

.......

For those of you that say the Mk2 front looks wrong, have a look at Fletty's Mk2 or get some new glasses :blum:

That front end looks spot on. I think I can finally accept the FG2's now...

I have a mk2 in kinetic (blue), picked it up brand new sept 21 has just over 2,000kms on the clock now.

I like that the iPod connection is now a USB port so that I can plug my iPhone 5 in, the mk1 only had an iPod cable but suited the old Iphone plug

The dials in the dash are a little bit different as well

that's wierd then, on my mk2 it only filled up the bottom black opening on the front bar, was about 25cm in height, 40cm in width and 6cm depth. rough estimates.
