Even though I'm now turboless, I'll continue to come back to this forum. Not for the expertise of others, just for the lol's.

To the OP get the car checked on a dyno before you put it on the straight as that will help diagnose most of your issues.

OP

Car needs to be custom tuned properly. An off the shelf tune with no boost control will not be able to prevent the car from Pinging. Your car has a much higher static comp ratio than a turbo motor so it will need the tune adjust to suit.

Re the misfire, It could be a dud coil or it could be as simple as a incorrect plug gaps, When is it miss firing? If its only underboost it could be plug gaps or it could be leaning out under boost. If its a consistent miss fire under all conditions you could be looking at a dud coil or dud cylinder. (did it start are it rattled on boost?)

It seems to misfire at idle more. Around 1200RPM same misfire. Around 3000 RPM it seems to not be there.

" (did it start are it rattled on boost?) " Pardon?? Rattle when on boost did you mean?

Ok. Here is the diagnostic found by sound not by Data.

1st gear nursed to 2nd gear. 2nd gear nursed to 3rd gear. When it goes into 3rd 'Ghia (about 2000RPM) nursing & increasing throttle to get to 4th 'Ghia it pings(rattles)
