Same running gear with old vs new?

if you are comparing with the new ST Freeze no, xr5 is a 5cyl Volvo engine and new one is a 180kw 4cyl.

You can't go wrong with the XR5.I've mentioned before that it was my first turbo car.It was fun to drive and virtually an endless amount of software re-flashes and mods are available ...a very tunable engine.I had about 156 kw atw.I surprised quite a few Holdens including SSs.The pull from 3rd gear was addictive and the "popping" sounds out of the exhaust were sometimes shot gun loud!.

Although the best tunes are done on a dyno my generic re-flash(BlueFin)caused me absolutely no problems.

The only thing that was a little annoying was the esp system. When it activated sometimes it would significantly kill the power. Also the first (and maybe 2nd ) gear was torque limited so an automatic Yaris could very well get the jump on you at a traffic light drag!

I am starting to think the xr5t is gay as aids. Quick need pics to convince me otherwise.
