Hello people can't find a direct answer anywhere on the forum the only person that has done a similar fit out has been banned I am fitting a BF long motor to my BA as the pistons and farked and welch's gave way the problem I have is the BF has Two knock sensors and the BA has only one what do I do about this is it as simple as not plugging it up or will this have devastating results Please help it kept me up all night

I have stirred it down for a good half hour, and still no epiphany ......... now I'm worried lol

Just install one in the front location as per your old engine.

For anyone doing the swap

Cheers Ralph didn't use the second knock sensor and haven't had a issue

Alternator brackets are different if you use the BA alternator you will have to switch over the rear bracket and run the shorter BA acc belt everything else was fine.

Two funny things but the BA flywheel teeth is bolted and flanged where BF flywheel is strip welded & fasteners and fitting's on the BA motor have a zinc/alloy finish to them and BF a chrome/alloy finish
