They look good ralphy, I'd be wary about the longevity of those small bushes though

Why don't you try a set and let us know?

Looking like that's what I'll be doing.

Had a little email convo with the seller, the bushes are replaceable and they run a common rubber bush so that is a plus once they do wear out.

Yeah, try to find out what bush it is (probably a shackle bush of some kind) and you may be able to upgrade it if its no good

They also produce a urethane version but the extra nvh doesn't appeal to me since I drive my car every day.

Yeah I was thinking they would, but similar to oils - urethanes aint urethanes....

Have been emailing back and forward with Robert from Technio(very very helpful chap) who make the mounts. I have ordered a set and will report back once I have fitted them and put some K's on them. Turns out the run a Mackay s197 bush, which is a 24mmOD and ~12mm ID.

Okay so the mounts arrived today and I fitted them this afternoon. Inital impressions: very good quality and finish, they are shipped in a nice little plastic tub and have generic install instructions including torque specs.

Impressions after first drive are very very good. The car feels alot more "connected" and shifts at high RPM are easier as the box and engine aren't squirming around under the gear stick.(heat shield went back on after the photo was taken)

No noticeable increase in vibration at low speed or under load, only when reversing up my drive way. The vibration feels like an exhaust touching the body type vibration but only very minor. I will need to check that it isn't actually the exhaust touching somewhere as the exhaust was fitted with the previous Kaput mounts.

Will report back once I have put a few weeks/km's on them!

Good to see someone trying these mounts out and giving us all feedback. Can see these becomming a common upgrade.
