Z2TT Member 714 Member For: 12y 7m 5d Posted 28/10/12 07:59 AM Share Posted 28/10/12 07:59 AM (edited) Hi Guys,Have not had my FG for long so I'm posting a bit more than I should be, first time I've everreally spent a bit on a car, I'm a bit more fussy on this car then on my old EL.I've noticed on Idle, the A/C really does not blow that cold, lots of other people seemed to report itwith their 2008 Models but mines a 2011.On a 30 degree day or similar, After a short drive to warm car up, Could you guys put your A/C On :Bonnet Up.Max ColdFRESH MODE (has to be On this to compare)3/4 fan speed.Car warm, Idling 600rpm or so.Let it go for about 5 minutes or soPop the bonnett, and on the pass side firewall where there is a Block with 2 Pipes coming out,Feel the Larger Pipe.... how cold is it?Basically just trying to see if my FG is a bit marginal compared to others, suspecting has lost some refrigerant.I thought normally there was a bug in the computer causing it to not shut the hot air off totally but I confirmed it's not this as the A/C Isn't even getting cold to begin with when I manually bypass the heater core totally to rule that out.Cheers. I am sure warranty will sort it out.You have a lazy bunch of -unts on this forum so I doubt many of them will want to get off their lazy fat a-s to assist you. Plus you put up too many instructions. I'll do it on the way home if I remember. But I was driving the car all yesterday on the highway with Ac on and it was more than cold enough.When you say its not that cold you mean its not cold enough to cool you down?
