GTEXXED Banned Banned 910 Member For: 12y 3m 16d Gender: Male Posted 27/10/12 08:33 AM Share Posted 27/10/12 08:33 AM Did they use rubber hose for the pump upgrade,maybe it has slipped off a little or clamps aren't tight enough.The fact it fired after re priming it a few times made me think of this as this is the same symptom I had when the rubber line split a tad.I run plastic lines on both now.Is performance as it was yesterday when the issue wasn't there,did it start each time first time yesterday. When cold it started fine without priming and warm you had to prime it for like 2 secs then turn the key otherwise you would crank it for 10secs or so. My tuner played with the tune as I also had a idle issue and it fixed it so it must of been in the tune, I also has a siemens aftermarket pump. I am putting in a surge which should fix the problem I have, ( l have a sedan) depending on the power your making it should not matter 2 much in a ute they dont have as much surge issue as sedans do. Ask your tuner about the check valve issue and make sure they are real 968 injecters, mite b a issue with the spray patterns the fake ones have, how does it idle? ian69 Bronze Donating Members 31 Member For: 12y 3m 21d Posted 28/10/12 08:23 AM Author Share Posted 28/10/12 08:23 AM it idle's fine when started an I would hope they put the real injecters in cost me $880.00 and I dont no why they put 42lb in an not 60lb .they could not give me a print out off the hp because the printer was'nt working I was told .also it does not say what fuel pump they put in on my invoice just got high volume fuel pump .I did ask what pump they put in and they said a walbro I asked what hp it made an they said 380 no print out .I also read that the 42lb injecters are only good four 350 .
