I just worked this out..wow. 53kms with ave 28.5L/100km. That's 14L petty used..nearly a quarter of a tank on 53kms..dafuuuq!!! That's seriously effed up..

Told the old man the story. He laughed when I said Ceva..they're the company with the contract through Ford to transport everything. Pretty ironic lol

Mate, I'm sorry to hear this.

I have only used Ceva once from Perth door to door with no problems.

Have herd of many stories like this and its guts me to hear that this still happens if it was only the other way round!

1. I would take photo's of the car with trip computer and all the other signs of damage with wheels obviously the body.

2. Get all the photo's of the car when it was dropped off at the yard.

3. Ring a lawyer/Solicitor first for advice before you ring Ceva

4. Get onto it asap!

Hope you get compensated for your loss and keep us posted with what happens.

I definately will not be using Ceva in the near or so future.

thanks guys... I paid $600 including GST from door to door.

Update

Well.... More to this saga. I had it inspected by a mate for RWC today up on the hoist. There is fresh scraping under the body and the cover of the fuel lines is damaged and bent. My mate seems to believe it may have been something they've hit and run over, thus the damage to the bar, undercarriage. Not sure with the rear bar though.

I also spoke with a their "National Claims Manager" who basically said it was like that when it got to the Brisbane depot and it was collected by a tilt tray so its next to impossible they damaged it, however they are investigating it. I said of course it was. The dealer I adamant that it was still A1 when it was picked up.

I have reported the issue to my insurance company today so they can work out who damaged my ute.

teribble story , but unfortunately al too common.

Been a victim myself at least twice

1/ first Phoon not many kays comes back with a ave fuel of 60+ over 50 ks and a fried twin plate clutch

fierce to say the least. 5k bill was offered

2/Towies skull dragging cars on to the trayback, without checking clearances.

I told them you are going to scrape it ! was told to fark off by some pimply chimp and leave it to me . I'm an imbo

Step into 'em nicely, they will just blow you off otherwise
