Oh ok so there all pretty much the same I might give him a call cheers for that

Yeah just depends on whether you want to spend another 4-500 extra for the larger spline, new rear bearings and labour.

I think the 700 hp ones should be fine for up to 500 rwkw, The Driveshaft Shop warrants them up to 700 rwhp

Going to revive an old thread. So turns out I need a new cv so going to be replacing my driveshaft. Looking at the options and well genuine isn't one, got a price from repco and they're $260 but I can get it under $200 for trade price. Are the repco ones any good? I have different part numbers for repco parts compared to the converted

On a side note anyone know how this happened, been told most likely too low is the cause, only running 300rwkw and no track use for the car.

Pics because everyone wants pics

Piks are like cake - everyone likes cake

Hmm there are a lot of FG's running around that have been lowered to ridiculous ride heights - yours is the first ive heard crapping a CV due to lowered ride height. Plenty let go at the drags, and that's understandable.

Yea engineer said the same thing, thought it was unusual. I reckon my car was built on a friday afternoon unfortunately. Apparently that silver ring thing is pressed into that bronze coloured housing but its twisting around so not sure if it was just done sh*t to begin with and the lowering and power killed it.

I'll be racing for the first time at WSID in a month so hoping just replacing one side will be right..

Also do BF shafts fit FG?
