GTEXXED Banned Banned 910 Member For: 12y 6m 25d Gender: Male Posted 23/10/12 06:37 AM Author Share Posted 23/10/12 06:37 AM Glad I'm not the only one that thinks a mid 10 is possible with those 3 extra mods,I honestly think a 10.9x is achievable with the setup/boost I now run with the addition of built trans still using pump fuel.My tune is also 11.0:1 the whole way so more power/torque will be had at same boost with a touch up.Checked my M/T's today and they are 7.5 years old lol,didn't even feel like wheel spinning and still were sticky arriving back at pits.In the 7 or so years they did one pass and that's it with the remaining time off the rims and inside,maybe that helped keep new performance wise.Was running 20psi also. GTEXXED Banned Banned 910 Member For: 12y 6m 25d Gender: Male Posted 23/10/12 08:52 AM Author Share Posted 23/10/12 08:52 AM Yeah I want the 10.9x from my 100 octane E10 SA 353rwkw tune lol,that reminds me,I need to change sig.Also,my 1.75 60ft was only using 2psi max to help the trans last,I recon with strong trans and 8psi or so she will go sub 1.6 easy on this tune.I did a bit or searching and 1.75 from 2psi seems to be fairly competent.25psi you recon Jet.....in my tires maybe lol.I will use this turbo to it's full potential next season when weather is cooler,until then ill stick with the 20psi in the mid and 16psi up top tune for 353rwkw,all in by 115kmh/r mind you. GTEXXED Banned Banned 910 Member For: 12y 6m 25d Gender: Male Posted 23/10/12 10:49 PM Author Share Posted 23/10/12 10:49 PM Not until we sell the house and that's hopefully by start of next year so she will be ready for Autumn racing.Still plenty of love for Sam,the car was serviced not long ago there,I just have to look at over capatilising so if the same proven trans can be had for 1k less then that's the way I'm going,he understands that 1k extra in our family's pocket go's along way.I just feel a place that builds lots of BTR's that get strip use is the go,have heard a lot of good stories about Bays.Have spent nearly 10k at Sams over the years so all is good lol.I may look into just addressing 3rd gear clutches for now to get me by till next year,no different to fixing the 3-4 issue in some of the Zf's really,nothing nasty just a fix in the area that's needed most.Cheers, Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
