I have a 2003 BA xr6 turbo, now I think I blew my gearbox as it will not drive or move or anything. is there anyway that the ecu or somthing is stopping the car from moving cuz it knows it has low oil ? or somthing like that? im only 19 and dont really know allot about cars like that, any help would be good thx

It's unlikely that the oil level has much to do with it.

On a truck and off to the workshop mate.

If they aren't treated well it is easy to pop the 4 sod auto

Bad news for you, mine did a similar thing tried to get around it with just a service..... no good had to go for a complete rebuild(clutches burnt out). If this is the case spend some money and get it done properly and upgraded.

I don't believe there's such a thing as 'properly' with the 4 speed. They'll all die eventually. No matter what fancy words someone puts on an invoice.
