off topic

anyone know a place where they seal fg rear differentials? has oil leaking and ford quoted me $440, no parts needed just labour to drop axle n seal up with silicon.

also , is instant economy meant to drop down to 0 after you let off the gas? mine always stays at around 5litres and when normaly taking off from lights around 70-99 litres :O

Well if it dropped to 0 your engine would stall. 5l/100km when backing off is normal as is around 1.7l/hr at idle. 70-99l/100km sounds pretty high. Unless you consider taking off from the lights in a big cloud of smoke pushing 20+psi of boost normal.

Was merely trying to say that's is one of those things where you cringe first but laugh your arse off. Was tongue in cheek. I can see how it could be read that way.

Cheers

more power, why? how does it feel to get beat by a GM ? just had my first experience 20min ago, not fun when its a Expensive Daewoo ss ute. that's why more power is needed

Also the inverse - for that feeling when you can literally wave goodbye out the window as you use second gear to walk away from the VE Clubbie that used to be next to you (and took off first). Down at the drag strip that is.
