T-Rex Donating Members 98 Member For: 13y 4m 23d Gender: Male Posted 19/10/12 10:09 AM Share Posted 19/10/12 10:09 AM I feel bad starting this one because I know its going to be short lived but nothing came up in search, so when warm the car will take a bit longer than the ~1 sec it usually takes to kick over in order of:cold - ~1 secondwarm 15-60 minutes later, the longest was ~10 secondswarm about 2 hours later, normal ~1 second againSo, I know that the resistance in the coil increases with heat, so when it has been left and its hot under the bonnet it will be harder to start.
