Hi Guys,

I am new to this forum and new to the turbo scene, I am 22 and just for my opens so enough waiting I brought an 09 G6ET I pick him up this weekend and making the drive from Sydney to a brisbane should be fun.

I have money ready to spend on some upgrades this is what I am thinking but would love some advice or opinions.

- PWR or Pwest (stepped intercooler)

- Black plazamaman surge tank (with 1000hp fuel pump)

- air box

- Bosch 1000cc injectors

- SCT X3 flash tuner

- battery relocate

This is going to be my stage one probs a big stage one but not hear to f*** spiders.

My plan for stage to would be increase turbo and strengthen block (valve springs, conrods etc.)

The car is black, I would love some recommendation for rims and tires,

I want to run semi slicks on rear, but have no idea of size offset etc, really need some help as far as this goes.

Cheers,

Matt

I know aparrently dillz had a lsd, but I think he had the other sort of lsd when he stated such....

wouldnt be worrying tooo much about semi slicks if no lsd

I would recomend the standard airbox unless you abosolutly have to change ie bigger turbo.

I agree with the comments above.

The single spinner will be fine, if you like playing around corners then a LSD is nice to have.

Like said above the standard airbox is fine on the stock turbo.

All said the G6ET is a lovely car to drive and a great place to be. As quick as the XR without all the attention.

Welcome to the club.

A year ago I was in the same boat as you mate. This is what I did in my "stage 1"

Harrop Trutrac LSD

Superpro comfort bushes

Plazmaman turbo side intake + battery relocation

Plazmaman surge tank + 044 fuel pump

Plazmaman 800hp Intercooler

4 inch dump pipe + cat

Wastegate port + flapper mod

Bosch EV14 1000cc injectors

Xcal3 tune

This combo made 320 rwkw. I could've got to 320 rwkw spending less initially but I knew I was going to upgrade the turbo eventually which is why my initial outlay was a lot more expensive than most. I'm now going to a bigger turbo (GTX3582R) and I'll only need (engine wise) valvesprings, an intank fuel pump and to do the catback to make near 400rwkw.
