What about without the ZF tune... Input shafts still not lasting?

I've snapped 3 input shafts in a 450rwkw GTE - including a billet one.

My personal opinion is don't get the ZF tuned, but if you do, get the shaft done and make sure they don't reduce the torque limits on the changes too much. Mine's now sitting at 25% reduction. Snapped a billet shaft at 50% on a 2-3 change.

Ouch - that's painful!!...

I'd be happy just to get a tune only for now and not touch the ZF but I still run the risk of snapping the shaft right?... What about tune, shaft and no ZF tune?... unbreakable?..

Just don't have the torque tags removed or reduced when having a tune done. My tuner strongly advised against touching them. He should know, he does some of the best built ZFs in the country.
