I know ya pain with the zf mate we persisted for a few years with it & now we hitting the track with more power than there capable of or should expect of it not to mention the constant limpmode issue we were having it was time to move on to bigger & better things.

We chose a th400 (3spd) built by keas with engine braking & transbrake with a tce converter behind it. Its not in the car yet but I have been in one built by protrans & it was awesome. It was perfectly mannered on the street, shifted smooth & crisp & no lag. With the right combo they can be every bit as streetable as the zf without the worry of software issues, slipped clutches & broken input shafts for me that makes them every bit streetable as the zf. We're gonna play with diff gear options to see what we need at the track but it'll either be 2.73's or 3.23's.

If the issue continues give me a yell, by then I should of had the box in the car & I can tell ya exactly how it is.

I'm hoping my weight reduction will make for an easier life for the ZF but the first sign of trouble and it's getting turfed for a TH400/Glide

I know a few of these shops are quoting these boxes to hold 600kw but have any of them really tested at this level with traction. It's easy to make that on the dyno & take it on the street due to wheelspin taking alot ot the stress away but has solid testing & durability tests really been done. Its all good to say it'll do it but to test & prove is another thing???

No way has BTA done any track testing, Nizpro is the only one that has pushed these things at the track. Launching 1.5 60 fts and still going for more.

Two 9 sec passes also.

What's BTA done, put up a video of him driving down a street and pushes himself into the seat to make it look like his punching it ,so it doesnt go into limpmode.
