A lot of T owners seem to report one time only funny little glitches, occasional stalling at idle etc, I think it has something to do with the ECUs.If it only happened once and ford can't find a code fault I wouldn't lose too much sleep Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/8237-automatic-gearbox-slipping/#findComment-77740 Share on other sites

Its a sealed system that Ford can check. You stated they checked that so m out of ideas Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/8237-automatic-gearbox-slipping/#findComment-77742 Share on other sites

Yup a mate of mine gave me a blast on his new bike, so of course I gave him a drive of the T, showed him how the sequential shift worked but he lost the plot whist shifting from 2nd to third must have though he was in a manual and grabbed the shifter with then button held in and shifted from 2nd to third like you would in a manual, thrugh reverse and into park at 100+ kicks, heart neraly jumped into my mouth, but she just rolled along like nothing happened as I quickly shifted it back to D Where it stayed for the rest of the ride. Cirkey, thank goodness for anti dickhead devices. Even the old traumatics wouldn't engage in this instance as was unfortunate enough to witness some years back.Scotty Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/8237-automatic-gearbox-slipping/#findComment-78184 Share on other sites
