There's quite a few to choose from so I was hoping for a few recommendations from you guys that look after your baby's properly. Used Mick in Frangers a couple of years ago but wasn't too impressed. Much appreciative of any suggestions. Ta!

Usually the only people unhappy with Mick are the ones that don't like hearing his honesty.

BenDoCo I'm getten too old for this s**t Bronze Donating Members 4,509 Member For: 11y 7m 14d Gender: Male Location: A big bridge over a river in South Australia Posted 20/02/15 09:49 AM Share Posted 20/02/15 09:49 AM First up, I think I'm qualified to post in a Vic thread even though I'm in SA coz I drove 1500kms to get a workahop to mod my car in Melbourne. @ azzWithout knowing 'your' and your cars story makes it a bit hard to truely help you.The only help / advice I can give is that if you aren't happy with -- or you expected more from -- Pit Lane ( and of course the choice is yours here ), have a chat and express your concerns.Keeping that 'line of communication' going Both ways will not only help you in the long run but will also help a tuner because as with most things, modding one of these Fords isn't an exact science. What was great on the Dyno may not be great in the real world and if you don't give first option back to the original workshop, IMHO you are not only doing yourself a disservice but your not helping a tuner to better himself (are there any woman tuners in the country?) / herself.I love the power that Pit Lane gave my car and the trans tune is awesome. It does use a bit more fuel than I would like - in fact some days I swear I can smell the unburnt 98 coming out the back. If I lived in Melbourne, you can bet your arse that I would of had it back there to get fixed but weighing up time and fuel needed against the extra fuel it uses doesn't make sense. Before anyone asks - yes I did let PL know about my fuel concerns in my first two (I think?) emails to them in the first couple of months of returning to SA.Back to your question though, if you are totally pissed with them and - for whatever reason - refuse to talk to them then I can't help you.All I can say is if you have a heap of money and want a low 10 second car but don't care too much about the quality of some of the parts that you'll have to buy, go to Nizpoo. If not and you just want something done to make your car the way you thought it should be all along, get back on to PL because as I said before, when modding these cars, communication - should - be both ways but always remember, you very rarely get power and ride without spending money. My (honest) 2 cents worth
