So would have to check what the A1000 draws... You could roll the dice with a bigger fuse and 99% of the time it will be fine but with the heat in the engine bay ect I would recommend going to a 4mm cable. Just my opinion. I took my brother for a drive in the car last night and he wa hysterically laughing every time I changed gears due to the overwhelming noise.
