Single Borsch 044 To Aeromotive A1000

I currently have a Plazaman surge tank with the single borsch 044. I know I need new fittings and bibs and bobs, but I mainly want to know is everyone still using there standard fuel rail and fuel regulator? If not using the a billet fuel rail and turbo smart 1200?

I currently have 430kw at 1460nm on e flex with id1000s. I beleive my single 044 is little small for my set up. I reakon I haven't run into any issues due to the fact I have 4.11 which has less load so less fuel. I'm currently organising taller gear ratios so I might run into issue with more load so more fuel or am I wrong??

Hey mate, you would really need to check to see what fuel is being returned from the rail to see if you have enough capacity. Not sure what tuners in sydney do this. This will see if the system has enough capacity with the current setup. Ratter should be able to provide you more info on this.

^^^ you could do that, but that will probably cost just as much for dyno time ect, when he could just upgrade to a A1000, im pretty sure Plaz sell them with A1000 as an option now? maybe call them and ask what else they recommend. Im keen to see what others say because its something I will prob do if im ever chasing more power.

I have the a1000 on my plazmaman. As far as I know Rapid is the only place to buy them already modified but I could be wrong. I'm also using it with a standard fuel rail and regulator and have no issues. Although this is an FG so I don't know what differences there may be.

Question, why would you upgrade to the A1000 if the 044 can be measured to prove it does the job or not? surely the upgrade to the A1000 has got to be worth more than a dyno check with fuel return being measured? Just a thought thought and no disrespect intended.

Yea I understand what your saying and your right he could do that...The way I looked at it was if he did get it checked payed for the dyno time and then found out no its not flowing enough hes up for a dyno bill and a new pump then possibly a retune/check anyway? But if he just upgraded the pump hes going to be alright and probably fine if he chases more power down the track, but I guess he might have to have a dyno check after changing pump anyway...Meh...

No difference (except FG mounts differently), but guarantee your fuel pressure is too high
