Hey guys & Girls,

I have recently brought a G6E Turbo. hate povo sound so I changed the polarity of the sub and installed Rockford punch 6.5" Splits in the front and punch 6.5 component in the rear. I have been using the car for a few weeks with the speakers running off the ICC. found it not that much better than the orig speakers so I have now purchased a ( http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/products/product_details.aspx?itemid=120465 ) nice little amp I want to mount it in the dash somewhere. now my problem is iv got no idea where the easiest spot is to find the speaker wires to hijack. Can anyone point out where to find and what color the wires are?

Regards

Best thing is to pull the door trim back off and pull the speaker out to see what colour it was and match it back up under the dash. Not sure if there's an easier way to do it.

Check the colour of wires to the speakers as mentioned above and just run the new wires straight from the ICC plug.

I just replaced my door soeakers with Focal 6.5" component speakers and it made a little difference... You might have a hard time finding the wires on the back of the ICC as for some stupid reason ford made the speaker wires a different colour from the door to the ICC. eg the wires in the door are orange with a green tracer, but the wires on the back of the icc are grey!.. I figured the colours out by removing the kick panels and searching for 2 wires that are twisted together( only wires that are in that particular harness) and they were the speakers. There's also a join in those wires where they run up to the tweeters :)
