It looked killer in the stills you put up after the repaint. Get her fixed nice and strong so we can see it on a drive!

Problem Solvered everybody..!!!!

Big thanks to Luke for the help and use of his TIG.

Ended up using 3 x 1/2" washers.

Tacking them together to make the overall thickness match the old plastic piece. Then notching out a slot in the washers and welding in the pushrod of the Mc....

Works a treat and no doubt stronger then ever.

Thanks for all the input fellas..saved me hundreds !!$$!!

Sorry to dig up an old thread guys, but I had this exact problem recently and did what you did by making up my own set up and welding it together. I have found now though that the take up point on the clutch is ridiculously high! Is there any way to adjust the pedal down to make it easier to drive? Its really weird trying to drive it now :/

As above, you'll have to re-do it...

Also, we prefer you to dig up an old thread, better than starting a new one for a topic that has already been started!

Clutch Pedal

Hi all,

Thought I'd keep this these going rather than starting a new one.

Clutch pedal just went on a 07 BF XR6T II, exact same thing to post #1.

Noticed a little splat of oil on foot when clutch pedal went straight to the floor while taking off in first gear (clutch pedal went straight to the floor).

Noticed the black plastic broken (will take pictures for reference) on the floor but my concern is the oil.

Is it just replace the black plastic (where to get it from, ford, Repco, Bursons?) or could it be more with cylinder to be replaced???

Thoughts?

^^^cheers for that.

Still doing my head about the little spill of oil.

This is a picture of the plastic eye that connects to the clutch pedal:-

So after reading above will have to change master cylinder when I replace the eye?

Has anyone one used this:- http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Ford-BA-BF-Clutch-Clevis-/281355361908?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4182161e74&_uhb=1

Or should I stick to the original plastic ford eye part ?
